你的檔案目錄

GetFerret 為你的硬碟建立目錄，讓它即使在硬碟拔除時也能找到檔案。該目錄 僅存在於你的 Mac 上，靜態時加密。它從不離開你的機器，我們也從不查看。

沒有帳號，沒有追蹤

使用 GetFerret 不需要登入。沒有任何分析工具在關注你搜尋了什麼， 關於你檔案的任何資訊都不會傳送給我們：檔名不會，內容不會，存放位置不會，你搜尋過什麼也不會。

應用程式會傳送什麼

只有兩樣，而且都與你的檔案無關。

授權驗證。 當你輸入授權金鑰時，應用程式會向我們的授權伺服器驗證它，之後也會不定期重新驗證。一個授權之所以能涵蓋你擁有的 Mac 並轉移到新的 Mac 上，靠的就是這個。它只傳送金鑰和正在啟用的那台 Mac 的識別碼，除此之外什麼都不傳。

一次匿名的安裝計數。 從 1.0.8 版起，你第一次啟動 GetFerret 時，它會告訴我們試用已經開始。這則訊息只包含應用程式的版本號，除此之外什麼都沒有。沒有硬體識別碼，沒有電子郵件，沒有帳號，沒有任何能追溯到你或你的 Mac 的識別碼，我們也不保存它來自哪個 IP 位址。這樣做是因為否則我們完全不知道有多少次下載變成了安裝。如果這則訊息傳送失敗，什麼都不會發生，對你來說也沒有任何改變。

本網站 & 候補名單

getferret.app 是一個簡單的靜態網站，沒有廣告追蹤器。自 2026 年 8 月 9 日起，它使用 Google Analytics，讓我們了解人們進入了哪些頁面、從哪裡來。對於來自歐洲經濟區、英國和瑞士的訪客，我們會要求它不要在裝置上儲存任何內容，因此這些造訪是在沒有 Cookie、沒有識別碼的情況下統計的，這也是我們沒有請你關閉 Cookie 橫幅的原因。這只涉及網站，與應用程式是分開的；應用程式本身傳送什麼，上面已經說明。如果你加入發布候補名單，我們只會將你的電子郵件用於一件事：在 GetFerret 可用時通知你。不出售名單，不發垃圾郵件。表單由 Cloudflare Turnstile 保護，用於阻擋機器人。

Where AI is involved

Nothing about your files ever touches AI, and the app does no AI processing at all. There are exactly two places it comes in, and both are things you choose to send us: a review, or feedback from inside the app. Both go through Claude, made by Anthropic.

Reviews. A review you write is checked by Claude to see whether it is genuine feedback rather than spam. We send the review text, your star rating, the display name you put on it, and whether you are a verified buyer. All four of those appear publicly on the review anyway. Clear cases post straight away, anything unclear waits for a person, and if a review is turned down you are told.

In-app feedback and bug reports. Feedback you send from inside GetFerret goes to Claude with your GetFerret version and your macOS version, so it can be sorted into a bug, an idea, a question or praise and reach the right place. That is sorting, not answering. A person reads every one.

What is never sent. Your file catalog, your file names, your searches, your email address and your licence key are not sent to Claude or to anyone else. Only what is listed above goes, and none of it is used to train anyone's model. If the check is unavailable, a review simply waits for a person instead of being refused.
